That is why they can develop their unique aroma especially well there, and as they have an extra dose of beta-carotene they also ensure good vision, healthy skin and a strong defence against infections.

About 20 producers cultivate high-quality mountain strawberries in Val Martello, a side valley of Val Venosta. These sweet berries are harvested in summer between June and the beginning of September, which, however, is not always easy as these delicious fruits are very sensitive.
