He has been growing the apple varieties Golden, Red Delicious and Gala in the orchards of his Franziskushof farm with organic certification since 2008. „Organic production is much more relaxed,“ says the passionate apple producer. He gained his well-grounded knowledge at the Laimburg technical college for fruit production, viticulture and horticulture in South Tyrol, which is not only a renowned school but also a research center for agriculture and forestry.
