My story
My family has owned our Stollhof farm for more than 200 years. When graduating at the technical college for fruit production, viticulture and horticulture in Laimburg, I already knew that my parents would give me the chance to continue this tradition. Having aimed at organic agriculture for years I took the opportunity in 2016 and founded an organic agricultural farm in accordance with my philosophy: working full-time in and with nature.
My rented orchards are widely scattered and range from Lagundo to Parcines and Naturno. According to the location and soil conditions we grow Gala, Braeburn, Bonita, Golden Delicious, Pinova, Red Delicious and Fuji apples. Especially scab-resistant Bonita convinces me with its characteristics and its exquisite taste.
As I renounce chemical synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, I have to promote biodiversity and useful insects in my orchards. This is where I put all my energy into and my thoughts revolve around this principle. Being an organic farmer means turning your mind to nature and listening to it. Man and nature form a symbiosis and complement each other.
