I can sleep well because a real agricultural expert takes care of my organic orchards: organic producer Simon Mair. Simon comes from the same village and his orchards are all in Castelbello-Ciardes. He is a young, dynamic man who loves varietal assortment. Simon regards life as an organic producer as a luxury and for me, it’s a luxury that Simon manages my orchards. My orchards now also “belong” to Simon’s practice and model farm for the Fürstenburg agricultural college.

Students of the Fürstenburg agricultural college come and visit us very often. Simon then fascinates the students with the principles of an environmentally friendly production or of the correct pruning of trees and tells them about his personal view of working in the nature.

During picking and harvest Simon needs helping hands who also profit from his interesting views. During the rest of the year, Simon is mainly alone in his orchards and enjoys the luxury of silence.
