Preparation

Put the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle. Mix yeast with a bit of lukewarm milk, a pinch of salt and some flour and put into the well. Cover and put aside in a warm place for about half an hour.
Knead it with the remaining milk, walnuts, butter, egg, cinnamon and salt to a smooth dough. Cover and put it aside in a warm place for another half an hour.
Grate the apples and incorporate into the dough. Add flour if necessary. Form a loaf and put it on a buttered baking tray or baking paper; cut the surface crosswise and let raise for another 20 minutes. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 C for about 35-40 minutes.
