Tuna tataki with Golden Delicious apples
A refined main course of great effect, perfect for all seasons
Fresh, pan-seared tuna is served on browned Golden Delicious Val Venosta apple slices. Black sesame seeds and soy sauce add an oriental touch to the dish.
Cut the tuna into slices, dip in soy sauce and sesame seeds and sear in a non-stick pan on all sides for approx. 1 minute per side.
Cut the apples with the skin into slices and brown them quickly in a non-stick pan. Serve the tuna tataki on the browned apple slices.

The apple history begins in the Garden of Eden. And since then it has not lost any of its appeal. Not only does it look good to bite and it really tastes great, but it also makes our body well, and our Val Venosta apple producers know it not only from the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away". That's why they do everything possible every day to get the best out of their apples.
