Wholemeal galette with Red Delicious apples and rosemary

Easy to prepare and beautiful to look at, this fragrant sweet galette with Red Delicious apples and quince jam surprises with its rosemary aroma. An extraordinary combination that will not fail to amaze you. Excellent for brunch, as a snack or as a dessert.

Ingredients
for 8 persons
180 g wholemeal flour
90 g butter
60 ml cold water
25 g sugar
1 pinch of salt
2-3 Red Delicious apples
1 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tbsp. quince jam
2 rosemary sprigs

Preparation
Mix flour with sugar and a pinch of salt. Add butter in small pieces and prepare a sandy dough. Then pour in cold water. Knead to a smooth, compact dough, wrap into cling film and let rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Roll out the dough to a round shape on a sheet of baking paper and then place into a cake pan or on a baking sheet.
Wash Red Delicious apples, divide them in half, remove the core and cut them into slices. Spread quince jam on the dough and arrange the apple slices to your liking.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and fresh rosemary and bake in the oven at 200°C for 35 minutes.
